Peri-Implantitis: An Overview

Abstract Peri-implantitis an infection of oral cavity that have an influence on gums around a dental implant. Up to 60% of patients with peri-implantitis experience implant loss. Poor oral hygiene, smoke form of tobacco, increased blood sugar levels, and periodontal records have been circumstances that may cause periimplantitis. The different sorts of peri-implantitis treatment are non-surgical and surgery. Respective and regenerative therapy of bare surface is the ultimate aim. Abstract Cricket is one of the most popular and favorite sports among sports enthusiasts not only in India but across the globe. Injuries are very common in cricket as in other sports. Dental injuries are least common but can occur while fielding, wicket keeping, collision between players. Injuries which occur include a mild laceration to a complicated maxillofacial fracture. Popular cricketers including Team India’s former head coach suffered dental injuries on the field. Crown Lengthening Using Diode Laser: A Case Reports

Abstract The removal of soft tissue or both soft tissue as well as alveolar bone for the restoration of the biologic width may be part of a surgical procedure to extend length of the crown. Scalpel, electrosurgery, and laser methods can all be used to extend the crown length. However, using lasers has a lot of benefits over other approaches. Greater precision, a generally bloodless surgical field and postsurgical course, minimum swelling and scarring, coagulation, vaporisation, cutting, minimal or no suturing, and less or no postoperative pain are some benefits of laser surgery over scalpel surgery.
